Jack Whitehall At Large Tour.

On Friday 24th February I went to see Jack Whitehall at the O2 in London with my brother, sister and her boyfriend. It was the present I got them all for Christmas and if I'm honest probably the best present I have ever bought anybody! I have loved Jack Whitehall since I saw him on The Graham Norton Show way back in 2010 (when Miley Cyrus was promoting The Last Song...what an amazing film) and over the years my family have begun to love him as well so finally being able to see him was amazing and we were only 8 rows from the front which was insane!

Photo L-R: my brother Ryan, me, and my sister Shannon (her boyfriend Brad was our photographer for this one).

As we don't live that close to The O2 anymore we stayed at our aunts who lives a lot closer to it. My sister drove us from ours to my aunts and we then got a bus to the O2, definitely a change from an Ashford bus! Even though we used to live around here; I still managed to be a right tourist taking photos of pretty much everything (at one point I wanted to take one of the London skyline from a hill when we were on the bus but I thought that might be a little too weird).

We then went and had dinner at Frankie & Benny's, and this is where I failed when taking pictures because as soon as I had the food in front of me I completely forgot and just started eating, but I think they went okay. For starters I had dough balls with a garlic and jalapeno cheese dip, for a main I had spaghetti pomodoro (which is basically spaghetti, a little tomato sauce and mozzarella) and then for dessert I had an eton mess sundae...which were all amazing!

The show was phenomenal; our seats were amazing and even though I was the one who bought them I was still so amazed at how close we were and it was the closest I've ever been in the O2 which was just the best and it was also my brothers first time there so what great seats for him to be in!

We were just non stop laughing and made it such an amazing Friday night; from the moment I booked them I couldn't wait to be there as I knew it would be a great night. Having to keep it a secret from them all for over a month was so hard especially when my brother kept going "I'd love to see Jack Whitehall live" but getting to see their reaction on Christmas morning was the greatest and made me so happy!

I hope you enjoyed this post and come back for my next one!

My Venture To Brighton

On the weekend of the 18th I took a trip to Brighton with a few girls from work; Jess, Vicky and Laura. We got the train there on Saturday afternoon and arrived early evening (4 trains...what a joyful time!).

On the Saturday night, we went for dinner at Stock Burger and the food was amazing, so good that I forgot to take pictures of it! I had a portobello and halloumi burger with fries and it was insanely good! We then went to a cocktail bar called Twisted Lemon which was super cute and so hidden that we literally had to google map our way there! We finished our night off in the nightclub Pryzm which was so big we kind of got lost a few times; definitely a change from the little club in my town, but was such an amazing night!

(photo L-R- Me,Jess,Vicky and Laura!)

The next day we went to get breakfast at a cute little restaurant called The Breakfast Club, which coincidentally is one of my favourite films, it was super nice and the food was great (and I actually remembered to take photos!). I got a black coffee and Veggie All American breakfast (although I only ate the potatoes and pancakes) it was amazing food and coffee and I definitely would recommend it!

After we had breakfast we went for a walk along the sea front and pier and then visited a few shops along the lanes before heading to the train station for a fun trip home, four trains...one which got cancelled due to there being no driver but hey we ended up getting McDonald's so that's always fun (not for my diet though!)

I hope that you enjoyed this post, and that you come back for more! I hope to go to Brighton again sometime soon for longer than just a night as it is such a beautiful place!

Eye Shadow Collection

Hey! So I thought today's post could be all about my eye shadow collection; I actually only have four palettes but they are all full of beautiful colours. I'll admit I do wear some colours more than others but they are all so beautiful.

The two photos below are of the MUA poptastic palette. When I first saw this palette in Superdrug, I was drawn to it as the colours were so bright and beautiful and something that I felt I needed. But I was quite disappointed with them, as you can see in the photos they aren't as pigmented as they look in the pan so they take a lot of effort to get it to look super bright. I don't use this palette much but I definitely need to try to use it a bit more. (The top photo is the top row and the bottom photo is the bottom row).

The photo below is of Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette. This was my first delve into high end make up and made me fall in love with eye shadow, if I'm honest I haven't always worn eye shadow in my make up routine, but now I have I couldn't imagine my face without it! This palette is full of such amazing colours that all work together nicely to make really fun looks whether it be just a daytime look or even something for a night out. It is super pigmented and they stay on your eyes for a great amount of time.

The photo below is of Soap and Glory's The Perfect Ten palette. I originally bought this to give to someone for Christmas but after looking at it more; I realised it was too pretty not to keep! It has such a lovely range of matte and glittery shades that can be used to perfect the perfect eye look. The colours are all so pigmented and it has some lovely nude shades, which are my go to when I want something super natural.

The last three photos are of the Kathleen Lights x Morphe Palette. This is my ultimate go to palette right now, I am fully obsessed! They are all so pigmented and creamy so they blend insanely well! There is such a beautiful range of colours and can be paired together to make great looks. The glitter shades really impressed me as they are just the perfect amount of shade/glitter; the glitter isn't over powering and they stay on for such a long time to give you such a fun look! (The first photo is the top row, the middle photo is the middle row and the last photo is the bottom row).

I hope you've enjoyed this post and are tempted to buy at least one of these eye shadow palettes! I also hope you come back for my next post!

Valentine's Rom Com Sesh

Hey! So Happy Valentine's Day!

I have been ever so single my entire life; so Valentine's isn't really on my radar during February, like to me it is all about Pancake Day (two weeks guys...two weeks!). But I thought I would take advantage of this holiday to bring you a post on my favourite Rom-Com's (that I own on DVD).

Friends With Benefits- So the title basically tells you what it's about...but this is such a feel good movie. Watching their relationship grow throughout the movie is amazing and the big flash mob gesture towards the end of the film just makes me so happy every time I watch it. I love Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake and they are such a big part of why this is such a great film.

How To Be Single- This is basically about a group of single people in New York...and focuses on their life, friendship and relationships. I freaking love Rebel Wilson and think she makes any film she's in amazing. Seeing all the different types of relationships and obstacles within this is great and there are a few aspects of it which make it quite easy to relate to.

What's Your Number- Anna Faris and Chris Evans...what more could I ask for! This focuses on Ally (Anna Faris) who after reading an article about the average number of men women have slept with comes to realise she is above average and looks back on all of the previous men she has slept with, with the help of her neighbour Colin (Chris Evans) and slowly but surely they fall in love. This is such a great, funny and heartwarming film and I would definitely recommend it to anybody!

The House Bunny- After being kicked out of the playboy mansion, Shelley becomes a house mother for a sorority full of awkward girls and tries to give them all a make over to save their house. If you didn't know...I love Anna Faris, if she's in it then its going to be good! This film also has Kat Dennings and Emma Stone in; who are some of my favourite actresses. This film is just hilarious but I just love the whole friendship vibe that this film gives off. Such an amazing watch and will brighten your day!

Valentine's Day- This is actually my friends, but as its at my house....it has to be included! This is about a bunch of people in LA on Valentine's Day. I love films like this where all the characters are somehow connected but are all focused on different parts of the story. The cast is just amazing and each of the stories told within the film are so captivating. This is a must watch for Valentine's Day or just any day when you're feeling like a good old rom com!

I hope you enjoyed this post and had a great Valentine's Day whether you were doing something or not. Do check out any of these films if you haven't seen them before or just feel like watching it again!

I hope to see you on my next post!

Sample Beauty part 2

So, I made another order from Sample Beauty, and I thought I would do a little review on each of the products that I purchased. If you would like to read the first Sample Beauty post I made, you can read it here.

NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray

I wore this for about 9 hours and I was thoroughly pleased with it. My face didn't stay matte all day as I have a very oily T-zone, so I did end but looking a little dewy around my nose but the rest of my face stayed pretty matte and kept my make up in place. I would definitely re purchase.

Smashbox Finish Primer Water

I freaking love this! It sets my make up insanely well and smells amazing. After wearing it for 8 hours, my make up still looks pretty good, a little oily, but that is normal for me. It seems to be what I reach for when I do my make up, so I 100% will be re purchasing.

Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray

This is meant to be for oil control so I was quite excited to use it as I have quite oily skin but it didn't really do anything for me, and I just ended up with a oily T-zone like normal. It did keep my make up in place, so it was good for that. I don't know if I would re purchase again as it didn't really blow me away.

Guerlain L'or Pure Gold Primer

This was definitely a materialistic buy, it had gold in so obviously I just had to buy it! But to be honest I don't think it was anything special, it does make my face smooth before applying my foundation. I don't think I would re purchase. Although I have read review's praising it, so maybe I need to try it again.

Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer

I really loved this, it made my skin super smooth and my foundation applied on top of it really nicely. It smelt really good and blended in to the skin really well. I would definitely re purchase this.

Seventeen Stay Time Foundation in Soft Ivory

I loved this, it applied really nicely and has a great full coverage and I was pleasantly surprised. The only bad thing was this shade was a little too light for my skin tone. But I managed to warm up my skin with Benefit's hoola bronzer and two warm tone blushes which were Coralista and Rockateur from Benefit.

I hope you've enjoyed this post and come back for my next one! Also make sure you make an order on Sample Beauty!

Lip Product Collection

For me, a lipstick is such an important part of a make up look. I cannot wear make up with out some sort of colour on my lips otherwise I'd feel empty. So I thought I would make a lip product collection post with lip swatches. (after doing all these lip swatches my lips are so sore..and I have figured out my lips are an odd shape, so please ignore that!)

I didn't actually realise how many lip products I owned until I started taking the photos for this post and I just kept finding more and more. I found so many lip colours that I need to start wearing more because recently all I have been wearing are two different Kylie Lip Kits.

I shall leave all the information about what lipstick I am wearing in the photos below.

Top Row-L-R.- Natural Collection Lip Liner in Almond, Studio London Lip Liner (not sure what shade), MAC Cremesheen in Finally Free,MAC Miley Cyrus Viva Glam and Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Intense in 14
2nd Row-L-R,- MUA Matte in Fawn Fancy, Maybelline Colorsensational in 832 Kiss Pearl, MUA Matte in Wild Berry, MUA lipstick in Shade 2
3rd Row-L-R- MUA Matte in Scarlet Siren, Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Colour in Frisky Business and Kylie Gloss in Koko K(I accidentally put two photos of the same colour but as I've done it all nicely I'm just going to leave it there).
4th Row-L-R- Kylie Metal in King K, Kylie Holiday Edition Metal in Dancer, Sample Beauty Liquid Lipstick in 21 and MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Tranquility.

Top Row-L-R- MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Reckless, MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Kooky and Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in Medusa.
Middle Row-L-R-Kylie Matte Liquid Lipstick in Posie K, Kylie Matte Liquid Lipstick in Koko K and Kylie Matte Liquid Lipstick in Maliboo.
Bottom Row-L-R-Kylie Birthday Edition Matte Liquid Lipstick in Leo, Maybelline Super Stay 24 hour Colour in 615 Soft Taupe and Maybelline Super Stay 24 hour Colour in 195 Raspberry.

I tend to wear my liquid lipsticks a lot more than any other lip product I have as I find them easier to use and I prefer a lip colour that stays and doesn't transfer as I do drink a lot during the day and I hate having to re apply.

I hope you enjoyed this post and love lipstick as much as I do!

(I'm wearing a top from H&M which I paired with my usual Black High Waist Jeans from New Look)

My Go To Make Up Look

Hey, so I thought today's post could be all about my 'go to make up look'. As I was applying my make up the other day I realised that I had gotten myself in such a routine and this was the look I would always go for so why not write a post about it?

The products I am using are:
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade Fair Neutral
Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlight in the shade Moon Glow Lights
Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lip Kit in the shade Maliboo

I start with my daytime skin care routine which you can read here. Then I move onto my eyebrows; I prime them with the Browvo conditioning primer and then slightly fill them in a little bit before setting them with the Ready Set Brow gel, when using this I brush them upwards a little bit to create a feathery effect. I prime my eyelids with the Eden Primer Potion, which I have a little sample of, before setting them with the cream shade which is the 2nd in the top row. I then take the shade to the right of it as my transition shade and apply it just above the crease, I use the mustard shade (which is 4th on the bottom row) on my entire lid and then I blend it together with the transition shade. To add a little definition I take the shade left of the mustard shade and put that in my crease and outer corner.

I then apply my mascara and I use two, I have really crappy eyelashes (I do this one eye at a time) so I curl my eyelashes then apply the Soap and Glory mascara to just make it easier to apply the Too Faced mascara. I then prime my entire face with my L'Oreal Paris primer and let it set in to my skin. Once my primer has set I then apply my Benefit foundation to my entire face, I cover up any visible spots with my Collection concealer and use my Urban Decay concealer to highlight my under eyes. I then set my entire face with my Too Faced Powder.

I take the mustard eye shadow shade again and apply to my under eyes as close to my water line as possible and use my Soap and Glory mascara for my bottom lashes. I contour/bronze up my face with my Benefit Hoola Bronzer and to make my cheeks a little rosy I use Benefit's Dandelion blusher (I actually have them in a little set which also have 4 other blushers and a highlight). I apply my Makeup Revolution highlight to the tops of my cheek bones. I don't have a setting spray right now but if I were to have one it would be the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. To finish off my look I use my favourite Kylie Lip Kit which is in the shade Maliboo, it is such a beautiful colour and goes with any outfit.

The above photo is what I use for my eyes; starting with the pink topped brush and going to the right. I applied my setting shade to my entire lid with this brush. I used the next brush to apply my definition shade to the crease and outer corner of my eye. I used the next brush to apply my transition shade above my crease and the final brush was used to apply the mustard shade to my entire lid. Obviously the eyelash curlers were used to curl my lashes!

The above photo is what I use for my face (and yes I'm aware my brushes are super dirty but I am holding out to buy the Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Glove); starting with the oval brush and going to the right. I used the oval brush to apply my foundation and I just love the way it applies! The next brush was used for my bronzer and it makes the application so easy and it doesn't come out too dark on my face. The next brush is what I applied my blusher with. I used the next brush to apply the Collection concealer to any visible spots while I use the beauty blender for my under eye concealer. I use the foundation brush to actually apply my highlight because I think it works well and doesn't over apply. The last brush is what I use to set my foundation and concealer.

This is the final look! (outfit; sunflower top from H&M which I paired with some black high waist jeans from New Look) I hope you've enjoyed reading this and I would definitely recommend everything that I have used in this post. I hope you come back for my next post!
