rest in peace to the impossible girl

I have been watching Doctor Who since 2005 when it was Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper against the world and I completely fell in love! But somewhere around David Tennant and Catherine Tate I fell out of it and just watched from time to time.

Then one day it was announced that Jenna Coleman was going to be taking over as the Doctor's companion and I just knew I had to watch. But then once I watched her first episode I was hooked, knowing she was going to be the companion but seeing her as a Dalek at the end of the episode just made me want to watch to see how the story would turn out, and it was absolutely amazing!

I'm writing this before the episode, which is Clara's departure, and will carry on writing after I've seen it. I have this terrible feeling that Clara is going to die and I can tell you I am definitely not ready for that!

Okay I just finished the episode and I am beyond heartbroken. As much as I assumed Clara was going to die there was no way I could've ever been prepared for that. I cried so much, like sobbing into my ice cream...the last time I cried like that at Doctor Who was when Rose was leaving. My two favourite companions and they're both gone! The only good thing about Clara's death is that Rigsy will get to watch his little girl grow up...which Clara would love!

I am so thankful for Jenna Coleman and her amazing acting as Clara Oswald because without her I probably wouldn't have got back into watching Doctor Who which is weird because I couldn't imagine my life without it now.

Thank you for being the impossible girl and making the last 3 years of my life so much happier.

long may he Reign (apparently wasn't that long)

In a previous post I spoke about how I had just started watching Reign and I thought I must make this post as I'm now on season 3 and something has happened that is basically such a major change to the show!

If you haven't watched the latest episode yet, or haven't watched the show and don't want to be spoiled, look away now!

But Francis is dead. Obviously this show is based on true historical events...so I knew that he was eventually going to die but still it came as a shock when it happened because I wasn't expecting it to be this soon into the season.

This is the problem when you watch something based on real life because they can't change something that big, which sucks because Francis was one of the greatest characters. One of the best things is that Toby Regbo made such a great King and him and Adelaide Kane had such great chemistry which made the characters seem so much better.

While watching I seem to often forget that Francis and Mary are only like 18/19 which is crazy (and the real life Mary and Francis were like 14/15 during their marriage I think). Like they're so young and have the weight of ruling two countries, married and are expected to have children and live in constant fear of being assinated. But times have changed so much that now my biggest fear is what tv character is going to be killed off next!

I look forward to see how Reign carries on with out Francis and what will happen to Mary now she is no longer Queen of France.
