"When you’re a kid, you assume your parents are soul mates. My kids aregonna be right about that."

so after years of hearing about it, and after 2/3 months of watching..I am proud to say that I have finally finished watching the US Office!

It definitely exceeded my expectations, I honestly didn't think I would fall in love with the characters and storyline so much, but I am not ashamed to say that I cried at the last three episodes when everything was tied together..I was just so happy and I don't think a show has made me feel like that in a long time, yeah I have my favourite shows that have amazing episodes but out of finales, this has definitely been my favourite so far!

At first I didn't think I would like the character of Michael Scott, because let's be honest he was quite annoying! Suprisingly I hadn't really seen Steve Carrell in much before (I obviously knew of him) so I didn't know what I was getting into but after a while you just get use to him and his jokes and I just fell in love! Once I was on season 8 I was just missing him and I really wished he had more lines in the finale but just seeing him back was perfect!

Jim and Pam...like someone said in the finale they had such a fairytale love story! At the beginning it was hard to watch knowing she was engaged to Roy and seeing all the sneaky looks Jim aimed towards Pam when she wasn't looking, it just had me waiting and waiting until they both finally accepted they were in love! Everything about them was just perfect! Every little look, conversation and their wedding! Jim cutting half his tie off because she accidentally ripped her dress just shows how perfect they are! So when they started fighting in the last season it truly broke my heart...I was so scared that they would break up and and I'm so glad that that didn't happen.

Dwight was a character that had so many reasons for you to hate him but you kind of just ended up loving him for the crazy idiot he is. There were so many funny moments with him...and I completely wanted him and Angela to get together from the beginning. Every time something went wrong for him, I just felt so bad for him...

The main reason I started watching the office was because I am a massive fan of Mindy Kaling, and she plays the wonderful Kelly Kapoor. Seeing her in just a supporting role was kind of weird because I am so used to seeing her in the spotlight in The Mindy Project, but every second she was on the screen was so perfect, I find similarities between Kelly Kapoor and Mindy Lahiri which makes me think is Mindy Kaling as crazy as her characters?? She always manages to entertain me and she was such a major role to the office!

As I mentioned I love The Mindy Project which B.J Novak, who plays Ryan in the office, has starred in a few episodes..which was nice to see him a main role. But Ryan Howard was a complete idiot, I'll be honest he did have some funny moments and even though at times he pretty much used Kelly, they were just so perfect! Like he quit his job and moved to Ohio when he realised he was in love with her...and in the finale, they ran off (into the sunset...without his baby) I think it was just the perfect ending for these two!

One of the funniest things in my eyes was Michael's hate of Toby! The way the writers portrayed that was just hillarious! There were so many amazingly written lines. Before I had started watching it, I always saw screen caps and one of them was when Michael was screaming 'NO GOD NO' and once you watch it you figure out that it's about Toby coming back to work and that is probably one of the funniest moments in the show!

Another one of my favourite characters from the show is Kevin! I hands down think it has mostly to do with the actor, they way he put his lines across were everything! The writers also done an amazing job at making Kevin one of the most beloved characters because there are so many times when he had me laughing until there were tears streaming down my face!

When I got to the finale I was honestly so lost, I didn't know what I was going to do after I had watched it and I also didn't know what to expect from it as I felt so invested...and I have to admit it was one of the very best final episodes of a TV show that I had watched in a long time!

So much happened, from Erin meeting her birth parents (which had me sobbing) to Dwight finally becoming the manager! (I cried again) The finale showed a major character development in Dwight, the show started off with him being enemies with Jim and barely speaking to Pam (I'm pretty sure one episode he calls her Pan)..and ended with him having Jim as his best man at his wedding and saying Pam is his best friend!

I am so so glad that I started watching it because it has truly been such a wonderful thing to watch! I have been so used to coming home and watching it that now I just don't know what to do with myself.

I just wish that every work place could be like Dunder Mifflin, because if it was then the world would be so much happier!
